Ellen Imbiano, LMHC

Ellen Imbiano is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  She holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Pace University, Pleasantville, NY.  Ms. Imbiano has over 20 years of experience in a variety of counseling settings.  She is experienced in individual, couple and group therapy.  Her private practice focuses on working with those who struggle with sexually compulsive behaviors as well as with partners who have been impacted by those behaviors. Ms. Imbiano also enjoys working with couples to help them heal and create a healthy, mutually fulfilling connection as they move forward.

Ms. Imbiano has received certification through the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals (IITAP) as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT).  She earned a Post Master’s Certificate in Addictions from New York University.  Ms. Imbiano uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and other grounding techniques as part of her treatment.
